Terms of Service
Last updated: 22 October 2026
Houndtool works on Google Ads accounts on your behalf: it runs reports, creates accounts, moves or unlinks accounts between managers, removes user access and approves multi-party requests, and it reads and writes the Google Sheets you choose. By using it, you agree to these terms and to Google's terms for Google Ads and Google Workspace.
Your responsibility
- Only approved Google accounts can sign in. Keep your account to yourself.
- Check the login (Run as), the manager account and the account list before you run anything.
- You are responsible for what Houndtool does when you click. Bulk actions can change many accounts at once, and some changes – like closing an account, removing a user or unlinking an account – may not be reversible.
Sharing connections
- When you share a connection, the person you share it with acts as your Google user. You are responsible for what is done through connections you share, so only share with people you trust and give the lowest access level that is enough.
- If a connection is shared with you, use it only within the access you were given and for the work it was shared for.
- Everything done through a shared connection is logged, and the owner can see it. The owner can change or end a share at any time.
Ending access
- Log out to end your session in this browser.
- Delete a saved login or a connection on the Connections page.
- To stop Houndtool using your Google account at all, remove it on your Google connections page. That also ends your saved login and all your connections.
No warranty
Houndtool is provided as is. It is not liable for mistakes or changes made to your Google Ads accounts or sheets, including changes made by people you shared a connection with.
